The game starts out with the samurai drummer greeting the player, and a speech about rhythm sense. Each stage is based off of a rhythm game from the first 4 installments, but may have some slight changes to make it harder, for example only using the sequel cueset. If a game was cut from the sets, then it returns as an endless game instead.
